Jacqueline Fernandez was born on 21 august , 1985 in Bahrain into multi-ethnic family .She is a actress and former model .she won the Miss Sri Lanka Universe beauty pageant .
She was brought up in Bahrain and did her schooling in bahrain. she was barely fifteen years old when she started hosting tv shows in Bahrain.Although she was a reporter in her teens but she wanted to pursue her career in acting and want to become actress.


Her father is from Srilanka and her mother is half malaysian and half canadian .She has two brothers and one sister,

Sujoy Ghosh's saw her when Jacqueline was on a tour in Indian and he persuaded her to act in his upcoming fantasy adventure "Aladin' movie .Her First movie appears to be a disaster movie at the box office . However, she acted very good according to the critics and she won the IIFA best female debutante actress award.

Jacqueline Fernandez came into spotlight when her second movie Murder 2 Sequel of Murder (2004) movie opposite with Emran Hashmi . Murder 2 did well at the box office and this was one of the highest grossing film of 2011.
